The DCA is hosting a unique, fiber based arts exhibit titled, “Comfort Zone”. We are accepting work in a variety of mediums yet specifically call for artists to submit fiber inspired or fiber incorporated pieces. “Comfort Zone” may be an intimate space for artists to express their deepest speculations and profound observations. One may pinpoint the idea of “comfort” and articulate a piece with themes of warmth, contentment or even luxury. A public and interactive loom will be available in cohorts with the exhibit and it is encouraged for artists, viewers, and the public to interact and “add” to this community fiber display. There are boundless possibilities of a “Comfort Zone” for both individual art pieces and the public loom collaboration.
