Youth Drawing Ages 7-13 - May 2026
Tuesdays from 5:00-6:00pm
4 weeks: 5/19, 5/26, 6/2, 6/9
Perfect for young artists who love to draw and want to build real skills, this class introduces students to the foundations of observational and realistic drawing. Through still life studies and realism exercises, students will learn the drawing process step-by-step, beginning with basic shapes, layout, and composition before refining proportions and adding detail.
Artists will practice contour line drawing, value studies, shading techniques, and colored pencil realism while learning how to revise and strengthen their work throughout the creative process. With a focus on patience, observation, and artistic confidence, students will create detailed drawings while developing a strong understanding of form, light, and composition.
All materials are included. Open to all skill levels. Come ready (and dressed) to get creative!
