The exhibit explores the many ways we heal, adapt and grow through life’s challenges. Through personal expression, artists reflect on stories of overcoming, hope and the beauty of becoming.

Exhibit Run: September 10-24, 2026
Parking and admission are free to the exhibit and closing event.
This event is the culmination of National Recovery Month (observed every September) and a final opportunity to see the art created to represent resilience. Art is used to share an individual's path to recovery, how substance misuse impacted their lives and how they see or show resilience. Art may be expressed in various forms, through paintings, sculptures, song, storytelling and more.
Call for art!
Free exhibit entry, no cost to exhibit. Each artist can submit up to 5 artworks. All entries must use the online form. No paper form will be available at the DCA. Deadline for art is Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2026 by 8pm.
