4-week session - class dates: 2/3, 2/10, 2/17, 2/24
Embark on a creative journey into the timeless art of pen and ink. This workshop series designed for those who appreciate the expressive power of ink. Whether you’re a budding illustrator or simply love the thrill of mark-making, this course will ignite your imagination and sharpen your skills! Previous drawing experince is helpful but not required.
Each class introduces a distinct approach to ink drawing such as Ink Wash, Comic-Style Inking, Contour, hatching and more. By the end of the series, you’ll have a sketchbook filled with thoughtful explorations — a personal collection of ink studies that reflect your growth and creativity.
Instructor: Erin Poe from Ink Crow Studios
Ages: 13 and up (for slightly younger artists, please call the DCA)
Cost: $100 (pre-register entire 4-week course) or $30 (drop-in payable in the DCA office on day of class)
Materials: Please see supply list. You may bring your own supplies. If you would like us to provide supplies, please indicate when registering and a materials fee will be applied. Materials are yours to keep.
$40 (entire course) or $10 for drop-ins (paid to instructor on day of class)
