Youth Creative Studio - Feb. and Mar. 2026
Thursdays from 6:00pm-7:30pm
Youth Creative Studio is a hands on, multi media art class where young artists experiment, build skills, and grow their creative confidence. Students work with a wide range of materials and approaches including drawing, painting, mixed media, sculpture, and more, while learning essential art vocabulary, techniques, and design concepts. Projects are guided by experienced art educators and working artists who encourage curiosity, problem solving, and personal expression. Students complete multiple artworks during the session and bring their creations home along the way. All supplies are included. Just wear clothes that can handle a little mess and get ready to make something amazing!
Winter Session 1: 4-weeks - class dates: 2/12, 2/19, 2/26, 3/5
Spring Session 1: 4-weeks - class dates: 3/12, 3/19, 3/26, 4/2
Ages: 6-11 (for artists slightly older, please contact the DCA)
Cost: $60 pre-pay discount for one 4-week session. Drop-in for $20 per class.

Registration available online below (no extra fees!), in person or over the phone for the discounted 4-week session. If you are redeeming a gift card, please call the office to register. Drop-ins available all session long, payable in the DCA office on the day of class. No pre-registration required for drop-ins.
