Curious about printing on a letterpress? DCA resident artist-printmaker Mike Mullen welcomes you to this workshop held in Studio A, home of Mike Mullen Letterpress Studio and home of a full size 1891 letterpress.
Participants will work with master printer Mike Mullen in his DCA studio to create a 2-color print using a full-size antique letterpress. From carving the image, inking the block, to setting the block and chase into the press, this workshop will provide a unique hands-on introduction to the wonders of letterpress.
Cost: $75 per student. All materials will be provided.
