Call for art!
Fancy and Functional: Highly crafted artistic creations that serve both an artistic and functional purpose simultaneously. The DCA invites artists, fashion designers, industrial designers, and craftsmen to create art that is both aesthetically pleasing and functional. Examples of this type of utilitarian/handcrafted artwork includes furniture, vases, cups, dishes, lighting, timepieces, and even garden sculpture. All media accepted, including but not limited to 2-D paintings and drawings, 3-D pieces, wood, leather, textiles, ceramics, metal, fiber, glass, and clay. We can also include links to process videos with exhibiting artwork.
To enter, please download the complete guidelines by clicking on the image. You can enter online below for both in person and online exhibits. Or you can print, fill out the form and bring it in (we also have copies at the arts center).
Entry Deadline: Tuesday, August 16 by 8pm
