2019 Downriver Artist Rummage Sale 4/6/19
Saturday, April 6, 2019 from 10am-5pm
An indoor flea market event where artists rent space for a one-day rummage sale to sell old, used, overstocked, unwanted art and supplies, equipment and materials at discounted prices. This is great place for artists looking to swap supplies or find bargains!
Free admission and open to the public! Street and lot parking is free.
While some artists might be taking credit/debit cards or check, like any rummage/garage sale, cash is the preferred form of payment. We suggest coming early for the best selection, and arriving later for the best deals.
Interested in renting space to sell your items?
Please send an email to dc4arts@downriverarts.org including your name, address, phone and idea of items you have to sell. You will receive an acceptance email in return.
Spots are approximately 8 feet by 4 feet
1 spot DCA member = $20
1 spot Non-member = $25
Electrical = $5
You can pay by cash, credit or mail/drop off a check to: Downriver Council for the Arts, 81 Chestnut, Wyandotte, MI 48192. You can also pay online at www.downriverarts.org. (Paying online includes a $2 service charge)
Limited amount of space, first come-first served. Please arrive early to select your spot. We have room for about 30 vendors. Deadline to secure your spot is April 1. Electrical access available on a limited basis.
Set-up starting at 9am on April 6. Load out by 7pm. This event is located in our theater on the second floor. We have a handicapped/elevator entrance located off the alley. You are welcome to briefly park your car next to the building and unload your items, then move your car to a parking area. Please do not block the alley. The DCA will provide 2 chairs. You are responsible for any tables/displays and loading/unloading. You are responsible for monitoring your space during the event.
