Downriver resident Loel Gnadt has been a woodturning artist for more than ten years. As a DCA Emerging Artist in 2008, he has also placed in other artist exhibits, such as 2nd place in Chrysler’s "Artist at Work" event and multiple years in Belleville’s Annual Art Show. He makes functional pieces such as bowls, platters, and pepper mils among other items. He also has fun making sculptural pieces.
