Registrations are taken on a first come, first serve basis. You may register by mail using the registration form and medical form above, over the phone or in-person at the Downriver Council for the Arts. We are located at 81 Chestnut in Wyandotte.

We ask that you register at least one week in advance. You will be contacted one week in advance if camp is cancelled due to low enrollment. Class sizes are limited.

Fine Art Sampler | Ages 6-10
This camp is designed for the artist that would like to explore many facets of fine arts. Artists will learn techniques in many different mediums. Drawing, painting and pottery will be explored. 

(This is a messy camp)

July 16 - July 20 | 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Drawing and Painting Camp | Ages 6-10
This is a camp to explore and learn. Artist will learn techniques in both drawing and painting. Many mediums and materials will be used.

Slimy Arts and Science | Ages 6-10
This camp is hands down the messiest we offer. This camp is for the artist that enjoys working with slime, gak and goop. Art and science projects are made through slimy and messy mediums.

Cartooning and Animation | Ages 6-10
This camp is for the artist that is interested in cartooning and animation. Different techniques will be taught as well as story boards and comic strips.

Earth Camp | Ages 6-10
This camp lets the artist celebrate the earth and its surroundings. Projects are based on recycled materials and natural supplies that the earth provides.

Performing Arts Camp | Ages 6-10
This camp is for the budding actor. Learn techniques as well as theatre games. Campers will work on small skits that will be performed for family and friends at the end of the week

Guitar Camp | Ages 6-10
This camp is for the budding guitarist. Learn techniques from musician Rob Bourassa. This is a fun and exciting camp.

LUNCH CARE:

Artists that are interested in morning camp as well as afternoon camp can sign up for lunch care. During lunch care, your artist will enjoy lunch they have brought from home, as well as have time to play games, draw and participate in other fun activities until the afternoon camp. Lunch will be supervised by DCA staff. 

$5 per day
